Ashley Robinson

CEO

Ashley (Ash) Robinson has over 26 years of leadership and direct executive level management experience in the non-profit sector. He advises a number of domestic and international NGOs and foundations and currently serves as a member of several non-profit boards. He also provides consulting services for a variety of for-profit businesses, both locally and internationally. Ashley works and consults with Wirthlin Dentons on international projects worldwide and is a partner at Merchant International.

Daniel Henrie, SCP, SPHR, CEBS

CFO

Daniel Henrie has spent over 25 years working as a business consultant, coach and executive, with primary expertise in human resources and finance. He is the owner of Santé Inc., a business consulting firm focused on translating human performance into financial results. Prior to starting Santé, he worked as the head of Global Human Resources for Iomega Corporation during its sales growth from $100 million to over $1 billion. Daniel is a graduate of Brigham Young University and earned a graduate degree from the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.  

Tammy Will

Philanthropy

Tammy Will brings to Globus Relief over 20 years of experience in start-up business and non-profit promotion and structure, grant writing, strategic planning programs, economic development, tourism and Native American health and education programs. She is a graduate of the State University of New York and has served on various non-profit boards and chambers. Tammy is the past president of a local New York chapter of BPW USA and presently serves on the board for Comunidades Unidas, a local non-profit in Salt Lake City.

Shaimaa Alwassiti

Director of Humanitarian Programs

Joining the team in 2012, Shaimaa Alwassiti has contributed to a wide swath of Globus Relief's mission and operations during her tenure at the organization. In her current position as the International Project Manager, Shaimaa has the opportunity to interact with charity partners across the globe, coordinating with them on large-scale, "big box" projects worldwide. These projects affect millions of dollars and hundreds of pounds of medical supplies, instruments and equipment annually and are a notable fulfillment of the mission of Globus Relief.

LaRae Thorpe

Project Coordinator, Domestic Partners

LaRae Thorpe first interacted with Globus Relief while working as an emergency medicine instructor at Mountainlands Applied Technology College for over a decade. Impressed with its mission and work, LaRae joined Globus Relief in 2014, first as the Warehouse Manager and currently as the Project Coordinator working with local and domestic charity partners. LaRae is a trained EMT with 40 years of practical experience working in the field. She lives in Alpine, Utah and has eight children and twelve grandchildren. 

Rob Cunningham

Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Rob Cunningham joined Globus Relief in 2008. Since that time, he has worked in various areas of Globus Relief's operations, including acquisitions, warehousing, operations and logistics. Working with both partners and donors, Rob currently oversees all international and domestic logistics for inbound donations and outbound humanitarian shipments as well as managing Globus Relief's extensive inventory. Prior to joining Globus Relief, Rob worked in inventory and warehousing at Mountain States Schoolbook.

Brandon Anderson

President & CEO, i4 Solutions

Independent voting member since 2000  

Brandon Anderson is President & CEO of i4 Solutions, a web design and SEO services company headquartered in Bountiful, Utah. Founded in 2001, i4 Solutions became one of the top web design firms in the state. Prior to his 15+ year tenure at i4 Solutions, Brandon worked in systems engineering and IT for Parker Hannifin and FranklinCovey. Brandon studied computer science at Weber State University and currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Kelly Lee Farmer

CEO, Leesco

Kelly Lee Farmer ("Lee") has focused his professional career on sales and logistics within the transportation industry. He was an owner and Vice President of Sales and Operations for National Product Sales and the founder and CEO of the leasing business, Leesco. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Christmas Box International, a non-profit based in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Lee graduated from Weber State University in 1989 with a degree in logistics. He enjoys farming and the outdoors. 

Kelly N. Farmer

President & CEO, National Product Sales

Kelly N. Farmer is the founder of National Product Sales (NPS), a salvage and freight recovery company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Started in 1968, NPS has grown under Kelly's care to be one of the largest salvage companies in the nation. Kelly is a founder of Globus Relief, providing initial direction and key support for the organization from its beginning to the present day. 

Robert A. Haltom

Partner & CEO, Kade Development

Independent voting member since 1996 

Robert A. Haltom served as Globus Relief's first CEO and as the Chair of its initial Board of Trustees and Board of Members. As one of Globus Relief's founders, he was instrumental in attracting key talent and facilitating the initial development of the organization. Currently Partner & CEO of Kade Development, LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah, Robert is the former President of RAH Corporation and former Chief Operating Officer of the National Association for Family Child Care.

Dennis Van Leeuwen

President, RVC Construction

Independent voting member since 2001 

Dennis Van Leeuwen is President of RVC Construction, an Intermountain West construction company. Serving a long list of clients across a broad spectrum of industries, RVC has grown from a small architectural firm into a diversified construction management, design-build and general contracting firm with over four decades of experience. Dennis joined Globus Relief's Board of Trustees in 2001 and currently acts as the Board's Chair. 

Lester K. Essig

Shareholder, Ray Quinney & Nebeker

Independent voting member since 2016

Lester K. Essig is an intellectual property and franchise law attorney in Salt Lake City, Utah. A shareholder at the firm of Ray Quinney & Nebeker, Lester has over 30 years of experience in intellectual property, cyberlaw, franchises and distributorships. Lester routinely receives an AV Preeminent (5.0) rating with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded to attorneys, and is has been voted one of Utah’s “Legal Elite" on numerous occasions. He studied law at Cornell Law School (JD) and New York University (LLM) and graduated magna cum laude from Utah State University with a degree in finance.
